Serene Setting
With a creek running through its center and over 220 species of woody plants on campus, Chico State feels like a park. Whether you’re sitting beneath the shade of a valley oak or admiring the leaves of a silver maple, the trees on campus are something unmistakably unique about our campus.

The Chico Experience
The city of Chico provides a wonderful college-town atmosphere, a friendly climate on the campus, and a strong sense of community. Most students live close enough to ride their bike to class, with about 80% living within two miles of campus.

Sports and Recreation
Chico State offers a variety of recreational and competitive sports teams. From coed kickball to fencing to wakeboarding to water polo—there’s a sport for everyone.
