Academic Probation
Any time your Cumulative or CSU, Chico grade point average falls below a 2.0 you will be placed on Academic Probation.If you are on academic probation, you are required to meet with your academic advisor no later than the end of the second week of classes each semester until you attain clear standing. The Academic Senate has also recommended that you limit your course load to no more than 14 semester units until you clear probation.
Recently placed on Academic Probation?In order to meet with an academic advisor about your individual situation, complete the Online Learning Experience (OLLE), an academic probation tutorial, and attend a "Back on Track - Academic Success" workshop.

Repeating Courses
If you are on Academic Probation, or at risk of being disqualified, you might consider repeating a course with forgiveness. Please note that no more than three courses may be repeated with forgiveness at CSU, Chico. Repeat for Forgiveness form
