Academic Probation, Disqualification & Reinstatement
Academic Probation
You are placed on academic probation any time your cumulative or CSU, Chico grade point average falls below 2.0.
Repeating Courses with Forgiveness
If you are on Academic Probation, or at risk of being disqualified, you might consider repeating a course with forgiveness. Please note that no more than three courses may be repeated with forgiveness at CSU, Chico.
Academic Disqualification
While on Academic Probation you may be subject to Academic Disqualification. If disqualified, you will not be allowed to attend the University for at least one year.
