Reinstatement to the University

Recently Disqualified?

  1. Sign-up through your portal to attend a Disqualified - What's Next? workshop.
  2. Review the Petition for Reinstatement for important deadlines and information.
  3. Meet with an academic advisor to discuss your individual situation.

Academic Reinstatement

  • You are not eligible to take classes at CSU, Chico through regular enrollment while academically disqualified.
    • You can take classes at CSU, Chico through Open University or at a community college. 
  • Apply for readmission to the University.
  • Formally Petition for Reinstatement  to the University.

The Reinstatement Process

Your appeal will be reviewed by the academic status committee for your intended major. Committee members look for clear evidence that you have resolved the problems which led to your academic difficulty.
