The staff in Academic Advising Programs are pleased to welcome you to California State University, Chico.
We understand that your transition from high school to college may not be an easy one. Being away from home for the first time, making new friends, being in a less structured environment, and an increase in academic expectations and rigor can be a challenge. Our advisors have designed the pages in Just for Freshman with that in mind. Our aim is to help you establish a firm foundation for your academic goals alongside successful negotiation of the many new experiences presented by your freshman year.
