Understanding Your Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Requirements

There are nine basic graduation requirements which all students must meet in order to earn a bachelor’s degree from CSU, Chico. These requirements provide the framework within which you develop your academic program.

General Education

The General Education Pathway Program offers students an integrated learning experience across the University's academic disciplines and the opportunity to earn an interdisciplinary minor in one of 10 subjects.

Degree Progress Report

The Degree Progress Report (DPR) provides access to current student academic information, including completion of University graduation requirements, major coursework and general education.

Associate for Transfer Advising

If you completed a specialized Associate for Transfer from your Community College you are eligible to graduate from CSU, Chico in no more than 60 units. Learn how to make the most of this transfer program.

Major Academic Plans

Each major at CSU, Chico has a Major Academic Plan (MAPs) to guide you toward completing all the requirements for your degree.
