• 2024 Summer Registration is Open for CSU OCS Professional Development(opens in new window)
  All Online Course Services (OCS) courses (PDF) are taught by  Certified  CSU Facilitators (opens in new window), 3-weeks in length, online, asynchronous, and require 15-20 hours. While you are able to move ahead in the course, you must follow the due dates as peer-to-peer collaboration is integral to each course.

• 4/19 - Let's Chat: AI and Higher Education - 9:00-10:00 a.m. via Zoom(opens in new window)
  Join us for an informal conversation about AI in higher education as an opportunity to share aspirations, concerns, ethical dilemmas, and more. This is not a policy-making or agenda-driven space. We do hope to avoid disparaging our colleagues, students, or administrators by keeping the conversation focused on the technology and our perspectives. All employees are welcome to attend and participate.

  AI Retrofit: An online program to introduce different Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
  Shut Up and Write: A unique in person opportunity to get started on a writing project.
• 4/25 -  Public Talk - 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the  Recital Hall (ARTS 150), followed by a book signing and reception. 
  Dr. Sarah Ray(opens in new window) (Cal Poly Humboldt) and  Dr. Jennifer Atkinson(opens in new window) (University of Washington Bothell), will discuss their book,  The Existential Toolkit for Climate Justice Educators: How to Teach in a Burning World(opens in new window). An easy-to-use field guide for teaching on climate injustice and building resilience in your students—and yourself—in an age of crisis.
