Accounting Society 

Our mission is to bring accounting students, professors, and professionals together in business and social environments, in order to enhance ths skills and knowledge that are necessary to become successful in the field of acccounting.

The Accounting Society is the number one resource for connecting students to their future employers. Recruiters want to see students involved with Accounting Society and enjoy helping them succeed.

Many students are unaware of the opportunities available in the accounting field. The Accounting Society presents the many different career paths available to students with accounting degrees. Fundamentals and industry trends are stressed through activities, meetings, company tours, and other events.

The Accounting Society will give you the opportunity to meet recruiters on a first name basis and get your name out in the business world. You will meet people from the top four accounting firms in the US, local CPA firms, government agencies, and accounting departments from large corporations that are eager to meet the future of their company. In addition, members build relationships with both peers and professionals.

Along with learning more and having fun, being a part of AS looks great on your resume. It also offers an opportunity to show your leadership abilities as a future Accounting Society officer.

We welcome your attendance to our technical meetings. Due to the fact that professionals usually attend the meetings, we politely ask you to respect our dress policy of business casual. Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Society form Chico State's Accounting Club. The Accounting Club holds our meetings Tuesday nights at Plumas 102, 7 PM. . We look forward to meeting you!

We are working on building an alumni contact list that will include all accounting professionals from Chico State. We have started sending out a newsletter every semester to keep alumni involved with what is happening on campus.
