Summary The focus of the first grant was on reengineering the introductory accounting courses. As the project team proceeded to perform this reengineering activity, several unanticipated problems arose, involving both technical and behavioral issues. This section provided a brief description of those problems and the project team's approaches for dealing with them. These problems were addressed and corrected, where possible, and the second FIPSE grant requested funding to disseminate the XYX model to the six adapting sites.
