Hello all! My name is Ellen Harrison and I am a sophomore here at the wonderful California State University, Chico! I am originally from Bakersfield, California, which is about 6 hours south of Chico. I love to spend my time here in Chico enjoying the swimming holes, riding my bike downtown and hanging out with friends.

The decision to attend Chico State was a no-brainer after visiting the campus. I was greeted with friendly smiles everywhere I went and marveled at the beautiful trees that engulf the campus. I instantly knew that this was the place for me. Another major benefit of Chico State was their nationally ranked Model United Nations team. I am an International Relations major and was ecstatic when I found out this fun fact.

I can honestly say that my first year was one of the best years of my life and I expect nothing less from the years to come. Hope you get a chance to check out this little piece of heaven!
