When to Apply

The application filing periods are as follows:

Fall Semester.......................October 1–November 30

Spring Semester...................August 1–31

Fall 2013

First-time freshman applicants: CLOSED
Lower-division transfer applicants: CLOSED
Upper-division transfer applicants: CLOSED
Second bachelor degree applicants: CLOSED
Out-of-State Students: CLOSED

CSU Chico is accepting applications from fully academically eligible students for spring 2014. The number of students we are able to admit will be dependent on availability of state resources. Consequently, applicants will be notified on or before November 1, 2013 regarding their admission status.

First-time freshman applicants: CLOSED
Lower-division transfer applicants: CLOSED
Upper-division transfer applicants: OPEN August 1
Second bachelor degree applicants: OPEN August 1 to BS in Nursing applicants only*
Out-of-State Students: OPEN August 1 (not open to out-of-state freshmen)
