Advancement Services is instrumental to Chico State's success in creating and strengthening relationships through outreach, fundraising, events and stewardship. Our purpose is to provide data management and reporting for all Advancement related activities. The department currently includes Advancement Data Systems and Gift and Pledge Processing. Gift and Pledge Processing ensures compliance with University polices and federal regulations, and in accordance with the donor's intent.

Gift Processing and Management
Chico State's gift acceptance policy provides guidance to donors and their professional advisors in making a gift to the University. This includes gifts in-kind, anonymous gifts, and gifts of property. For more information about gift processing procedures and policies, please visit gift processing and management.We provide free development and support for creating online event registration forms, e-blast invitations, and electronic newsletters using Harris Connect. Data from users is collected electronically for events and compiled into an Excel spreadsheet for your convinence, and email reporting tools help give you feedback to ensure you're connecting with your audience. Corporate matching gifts provide Chico State alumni, parents, and friends a way to maximize personal contributions to the University and increase the impact of their gift. Donors can take advantage of their company's matching gift benefit that may double or even triple the amount of their contribution. Learn More
Advancement Data Management
Advancement Services manages and enhances Chico State's constituents' data. Requests for donor and alumni data for mailings, solicitations, invitations, e-mail correspondences, etc. should be submitted to Advancement Services using the Advancement Portal.
