Strengthening our Math and Science Education at both the Primary and the Secondary Level, with a focus on student recruitment from the North State and helping to meet the increasing demand for qualified math and science teaching professionals at the secondary level.- Recruiting, retaining, and graduating quality students in Applied Health, Science, and Math.
- Advancing science literacy for the general public and across all university curricula with a focus on an Interdisciplinary approach to science literacy.
Northern California Natural History Museum
NCNHM is committed to:
- Constructing a museum building and educational programs to serve science and mathematics education throughout the North State.
- Developing interactive exhibits about the natural history of the North State, including its geologic past, the diverse ecosystems of the present, and issues that face us for the future.
- Developing age-appropriate educational resource materials related to the natural world for regional teachers.
