Private Dollars: The Critical Difference for the Future of Agriculture

Those graduation caps represent more than the culmination of four years of hard work. They represent the future of the agriculture industry. The College of Agriculture is one of the jewels of California State University, Chico, successfully fulfilling our mission to teach, do research, and serve the people of California. The college has been an avid supporter of the food and fiber industry, turning out graduates who serve the agriculture industry throughout the state and the nation.

Your support has helped ensure program excellence. Your continued support will allow the college to continue "grow" the graduates who are so important to the future of agriculture.

Gifts of Cash

These have an immediate and direct impact on our ability to further our goals and achieve our objective. University Development and Advancement Services has a secure Web site. where you can make your donations using a credit card. Remember to direct your contribution to the College of Agriculture.

Pledges

Pledges allow you to fulfill a commitment over a two-to-five year period and afford us the ability to plan and implement programs with confidence.

Gifts of Livestock or Equipment

The hands-on educational experience for which our college is known is greatly enhanced through gifts of livestock or new or used equipment to our University Farm and campus laboratories.  You may view our current wish list, or contact our development office for more information on what in-kind gifts we may be able to accept.

Deferred or Planned Gifts

These may allow you to reap tax advantages and an income stream now, while enjoying the knowledge that your assets will one day benefit the College of Agriculture. These gifts can take many forms and include life income gifts, charitable lead trusts, wealth replacement trusts, life estate agreements, and life insurance contracts.
