Personal Information

Agriculture education is my passion! As a past active member of my local FFA program in Dinuba I began to appreciate the impact of the agriculture industry on my life.  I earned my B.S. degree in Agri-Business and M.S. degree in Agriculture Education from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.  My wife and I taught high school agriculture and served as FFA advisors for ten years in the San Joaquin Valley.  In fall of 2014, my wife, two young daughters, Moriah and Madeline, and I moved to Oregon to pursue a dream, that one day I would be a teacher educator for future agriculture teachers.  I am blessed to work and teach in a supportive department while pursuing my PhD.  Our time in Oregon was fantastic for our family and we look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.  I am truly fortunate to interact with incredible and creative students who are willing to take risks and learn.
