Tri Counties Bank

Over the past three decades, Tri Counties Bank has more than demonstrated that they belong among this prestigious group of individuals and organizations.

Back in 1975 a small group of local farmers, ranchers, and business owners banded together to start a community bank that would serve the needs of everyday, hard working people like themselves. The founders included some of the most familiar names in the local agricultural community, names like Wendell Lundberg.

The Tri Counties Bank philosophy springs from a simpler time, when relationships meant something and wisdom was shared between friends to help others build a better life. From the day they opened their first branch on Pillsbury Road 37 years ago, to the grand opening of their new state-of-the-art training and technology campus this year, Tri Counties Bank has built a legacy of strength and stability in the local community, with a strong tradition for giving back.  Here at Chico State alone, the bank has given nearly 300 thousand dollars to various programs and projects throughout the University.  They have been involved in the Superior Ag Golf Classic since its inception in 1996, and in 2009 stepped up to take on the title sponsorship. Tri Counties Bank has invested 70 thousand dollars into the Superior Ag Scholarships and academic programs in the College of Agriculture, making them Superior Ag’s largest donor.

Today, the Tri Counties Bank footprint stretches from the Oregon Border down through the Sierra Nevada and Central Valley, with assets of over $2.5 billion. But even as Tri Counties Bank continues to grow, they remain guided by the vision and philosophy that motivated their founders, and we are so extremely grateful that they continue to provide outstanding service and generous support here at home.
