Livestock Judging Team

Coach: Clay Carlson

The CSU, Chico Livestock Judging Team competes every odd calendar year. The team represents Chico at competitions all across the United States. Some of the many contests that they participate in include Arizona Nationals, National Western Stock Show in Denver, World Beef Expo, National Barrow Show, Fort Worth Stock Show, Houston Livestock Show, Cow Palace, American Royal in Kansas and the North American Livestock Exhibition in Louisville. Students who participate in the Livestock Judging Team will enhance their livestock evaluation skills, public speaking, and have the opportunity to see livestock operations across the United States.
