The CSU Chico Agricultural Teaching and Research Center (ATRC) will present training on Propeller Meter Repair: This is a one half day irrigation district training led by Steven Huth of TechnoFlo Systems. Workshops are offered on behalf of a technical support agreement with the Mid-Pacific Region, US Bureau of Reclamation.
Course material and snacks will be provided at no cost. Topics will cover:

Types of prop meters-Direct Drive (Worm & Gear), Magnetic Drive (Radial, Face to Face, and Right Angle)

Current Brands-Water Specialties, McCrometer, and Sparling

Inspections-Installation, Propeller, Bearings, Register, and Accuracy

Differences of construction by Brand

Hands on review of cutaways

Setting up a repair program

Meter teardown and repair
