Tri Counties Bank Inducted Into College of Agriculture’s Hall of Honor

Tri Counties Bank was honored as the newest member of the California State University, Chico College of Agriculture Hall of Honor on Oct. 12. The 23rd annual Hall of Honor ceremony was held at the University Farm Arboretum.

The College of Agriculture established its Hall of Honor in 1991 to honor individuals, families and organizations that have significantly impacted the quality and direction of the agricultural programs at CSU, Chico. Past inductees include former faculty, deans, university presidents, donors, volunteers and community supporters of the College of Agriculture.

Tri Counties Bank has long been involved in local community events, with a strong tradition of giving back to CSU, Chico. The bank has given nearly $300,000 to various programs and projects throughout the University. It has been involved in the Superior Ag Golf Classic since its start in 1996, and in 2009 stepped up to take on the title sponsorship. Tri Counties Bank has invested $70,000 into the Superior Ag Scholarships and academic programs in the College of Agriculture, making them Superior Ag’s largest donor. 

The Hall of Honor reception featured live music, tastings of beer, wine, cheese and sausage, and a silent auction that will benefit student organizations in the College of Agriculture.
