Through collaborative strategic planning efforts involving the faculty, staff, and industry, the mission of the California State University, Chico College of Agriculture is to create, share and disseminate knowledge of integrated agricultural and environmental systems to students, industry and society.

For more than fifty years, the College of Agriculture has served California agriculture by turning out graduates with the education and experience that helps them to excel in their chosen careers. Our curriculum focuses on the traditional agriculture programs including agricultural business, agricultural production and agricultural education. Our integrated curriculum helps students better understand agriculture systems giving them the educational background necessary to be able to continue to adapt in what will continue to be a rapidly changing industry.

By combining an outstanding team of faculty and staff with the resources of the University Farm we are able to provide our students with a learning environment where they are able to combine classroom instruction with practical production experience.
