Alumni Glen Renovation Project
Concrete Pad is Completed
The Alumni Association worked with the Vice President for Business and Finance, students from the Concrete Industry Management program, and employees from the Department of Facilities and Management Services to design and implement renovation of the Alumni Glen on the Chico State campus. The renovation incorporates a new concrete pad, seating walls, and the infrastructure for tent placement to create a more useable space for students, alumni, and the campus community.
Next steps include landscaping the area with the intention of returning the area to its native vegetation and matching the composite material used for the pathway with the pathway currently running through the arboretum (same side of the creek as Alumni Glen on the east side of the bridge). Once a campus signing policy has been adopted, we will also add interpretive signage to the area.
