Renovation Plans
Tentative Architectural Plans
The Alumni Association is working with the University to design a comprehensive renovation plan for the Alumni Glen area. This plan will incorporate new seating areas, a better pathway, clearer creek views, and a useable space for campus events. Plans for this project are still in the very early phase. An early version of these plans are available for your viewing.
Next Steps in the Process
This project is entering the archaeological review phase. Once campus has secured an archaeologist through the procurement process, the archaeologist will be hired to conduct a comprehensive archaeological review of the Alumni Glen area. Once this review is completed, the project will go back to the architect for the drafting of area plans. Architectural plans go to Facilities Management Services and then the Campus Executive Planning Committee for approval. When final approval for the project has been received, we will enter the actual construction phase. We hope to start this phase by spring 2008.
