1955-1965 Reunion Committee

The big weekend of October 12–13 is almost upon us. Still time to sign up for the event and take advantage of reduced rates at The Holiday Inn through September 12. Payment for the Friday BBQ at the Butte Creek Country Club and the Saturday dinner at the CSU, Chico BMU must be received by Friday, October 5 to guarantee your reservations.

To the nearly 200 1955–1965 era ’Cats who have committed, thanks! You have assured a giant success for this event. To those who haven’t and are on the fence, don’t worry. None of us look much like we did nearly a half century ago. It’s more about the love. Show up and you’ll feel it. Again, in the words of George Zimmer, "I guarantee it". With attendees like Gerald Circo, Mike Miller, Phil Mickelson, "Shorty" Phillips, Terry Hughes, Pete Franco, Sam Simmons, Roger Levy, Larry Ickes, Bonnie Mason, and Don Brophy, just to name a handful, how could it be otherwise?

Day of Service
1955-1965 Reunion Committee
Wildcat Welcome week concluded with a My Service Counts Day of Service event in Lower Bidwell Park. Twenty in-coming Chico State students participated in a clean up in the park on Sunday, August 26th. With the help of the City of Chico Park staff, our students were able to help with cleaning, maintaining, and repairing of the community recreation area. By performing their service, these new students were able to contribute hours to the 125,000 hour goal set at the beginning of the year. For more information on My Service Counts or to see more pictures from the Day of Service please visit our Facebook page here.
