It's less than two weeks until the 2nd Annual Chico Experience Week! Have you made your plans to visit Chico and celebrate all that the campus and community have to offer? Community Action Volunteers in Education (CAVE)/Alumni Day of Service in Bidwell Park & American River in Sacramento


Be a part of the Chico Experience Week and join us on October 15, 2011 for a Day of Service with current CAVE students and Chico State alumni!

Chico

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Come out and support Chico State CAVE students and alumni on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Chico at 10:00 a.m. on the south side of One-Mile in Bidwell Park. Volunteers will be cleaning-up the area around One-Mile Recreation Center and working their way down the river. The clean-up will end at Alumni Glen around 11:50 a.m. At noon, the Alumni Glen Ribbon Cutting event will begin and lunch will be served at 12:45 p.m. when the program is finished. T-shirts and lunch will be provided free of charge for the volunteers by the Chico State Alumni Association. Remember to wear close-toed shoes and bring water bottles. Sacramento

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Support your community and your alma mater! Meet Chico State CAVE students and Chico State alumni for a Day of Service and river clean-up at the American River in Sacramento. Cleaning supplies and water provided by the Parkway Foundation. Volunteers to meet at the Watt Ave River Access, located on the south side of the American River off of La Riviera Drive. Drive past the kiosk and meet in the parking area under the Watt Bridge. Parking passes will be provided at the meeting place. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a chair if convenient.
Stay after the event for a FREE lunch provided by the Chico State Alumni Association. All attendees will receive a free Chico Experience Week T-shirt!
