Alumni Events at Golden State Warriors and San Jose Sharks

Alumni Event at GS Warriors February 22, 2014Chico State alumni and sporting events just seem to go together. On February 22, a group of 75 alumni gathered to watch the Warriors take on the Nets. Before the game, alumni were invited to watch the "Coors Light Shoot-Around" courtside in Oracle Arena in Oakland. After the shoot-around, alumni were invited to pre-game in the Coors Light Lounge. All alumni in attendance received a Chico State Alum pennant (featured in the photo above).

The Warriors event has been so successful and fun the last several years, that this year we thought we might try our hand at an event at a San Jose Sharks game. Just testing the waters (or ice), we sold 25 tickets to the March 27 Sharks v. Jets game at SAP Center in San Jose. Sadly, the Sharks lost, but everyone in attendance had a lot of fun; we're thinking we might add this event to our annual calendar.

Upcoming events for our Bay Area alumni include the July 27 Giants v. Dodgers game at AT&T Park. This game always sells out, so get your tickets early. Tickets are $85 each, and include catered lunch on Anchor Plaza and a ticket to the game. RSVP
