Calling Center

Calling Center Students Set School Record  
For the first time in the 20-year history of the calling center at Chico State, student callers have generated more than $1 million in gift pledges in a single fiscal year. The calling center is staffed by about 30 students who work seven three-hour shifts per week.  Together, they make more than 500,000 phone calls each year and have more than 30,000 conversations with alumni, parents, and friends of the University. Read more...

Ability First Sports Camp Welcomes Youth with Disabilities
Young people with physical disabilities will be making Chico State home from June 21-27 as they participate in the 30th annual Ability First Sports Camp on campus.  The camp is committed to enhancing the quality of life for its campers as they learn sports fundamentals and experience athletic competition.   Read more... 


San Diego Alumni Event

Alumni Reconnect at the Petco Park Alumni Event
On June 13 over 40 Chico State Alumni attended the alumni event at Petco Park Stadium in San Diego. Alumni with graduation years as recent as 2014 all the way to 1967 enjoyed sharing stories of their times at Chico State while watching the San Diego Padres defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Click here to find an alumni event near you! 


Alums Win Emmy

Alumni Spotlight: Alumni Win Emmy Award
A documentary film created in the Advanced Laboratory for Visual Anthropology (ALVA) at Chico State, "Impact of the Frolic," has been selected for a Northern California-area Emmy Award for 2014-2015.  The film is directed by anthropology alum Matthew Ritenour, director of photography is alum Arik Bord, and edited by Chico State lab technician Daniel Bruns. Read more...
