Are You Interested In Earning A Moderate/Severe Credential At No Cost?
CSU, Chico has recently received funding to support the needed increase in teachers highly qualified to work with moderate to severe special needs students. Through the Northern California Collaboration for Low Incidence Personnel Preparation (CLIPP) grant, students can now earn this credential at no cost! The Education Specialist Instruction Credential with a specialty in Moderate/Severe Disabilities authorizes teachers to work with students ages 5 to 21 in any type of classroom setting. The Education Specialist Credential program would provide you with needed training to serve this growing population of students as well as provide you with additional skills when seeking a teaching position in this highly in-demand specialty area.
