Summer Orientation Kicks Off, Draws Up to 300 to Campus Daily

A six-week program aimed at helping new students transition to college life kicked off today at California State University, Chico.

Summer Orientation, or Summer O, welcomes freshmen and transfer students and their parents and guests for an in-depth look at University life, course planning and campus resources. The daylong sessions run Monday through Thursday until July 18 and reach about 300 students and parents each day.
