Gateway Science Museum Discovery Summer Camps

Gateway Science Museum will host two open sessions of Gateway Discovery Summer Camp, where children will become “Eco-Kids” and “Eco-Rangers,” practicing environmental stewardship and learning about the Northern California eco-system and natural resources, sustainability, and renewable energy.

“Eco-Kids” (for children entering grades 4 and 5)

June 24 – 28, 9am to 3pm

$175, includes lunch and snacks all days

Campers will practice environmental stewardship while exploring hands-on activities such as solar cookers, renewable energy sources, composting, and making art with robots!

“Eco-Rangers” (for youth entering grades 6 through 8)

July 15 – 19, 9am to 3pm

$185, includes lunch and snacks all days

Campers will investigate principles of environmental stewardship by delving deeper into science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), while learning natural resource management, building wind turbines, robotics programming and much more!
