The Global Youth Peace Summit unites local, national, refugee, immigrant and international youth for a 6-day peace conference, devoted to heart-centered dialogue, authentic expression and exploration of self and world. Many who attend have experienced the atrocities of war, poverty, religious persecution, child labor, gang violence, neglect and the insulation of suburban America. With the recognition that sustainable peace begins within, the Summit is a vehicle for healing, personal growth and connection.
Justice wrote on his Summit application; "I would love to change the lives of many people in my school and my community who still have a narrow mindset. I would help to teach them to think for themselves. Many students are lacking peace. They have undergone some situations in life that some cannot forgive themselves for.
