Unauthorized On-Campus Food Sales
It has come to our attention that some practices that occur regularly on campus are in violation of the California Food Code and ’time place and manner guidelines’ for state facility use. Specifically, perishable and routine food sales as well as sales of any kind inside campus buildings (excluding the Bell Memorial Union and Wildcat Recreation Center, for which AS sales policies apply). As such, all unauthorized on-campus food and other sales will need to cease effective immediately.
The criteria for unauthorized on-campus food and other sales include:
· Sales that include refrigerated foods, hot drinks and pastries.
· Sales of food or other that occur inside university buildings.
· Sales that may be routine or frequently occurring.
