Jillian Kinzie to speak at CELT Conference

LUNCHEON Wednesday, October 1, 11:30-1:30—Celebrate Outstanding Teacher John Roussell, as well as other award winners.


KEYNOTE:  Nationally renowned Jillian Kinzie is the Associate Director for the Center of Postsecondary Research at IU and a Senior Scholar for the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment. Also Associate Director for the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), she coordinates the NSSE Institute project activities. Kinzie has a PHD from Indiana University in higher education with a minor in women’s studies. Her research foci include: college choice, first year student development, teaching and learning in college, access and equity, and women in underrepresented fields. She also is interested in understanding how institutions use student engagement data and other assessment results to inform improvement efforts in undergraduate education.
