CSU, Chico to Host Educators From Around the World

Twenty educators from 19 different countries around the world will be arriving at California State University, Chico next week for a monthlong study of the diverse facets of U.S. society and culture.

The five-week professional development program is themed “Exploring Access and Equity in U.S. Education and Society.” It is part of the Study of the U.S. Institute for Secondary Educators, sponsored by U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), which is designed to promote mutual understanding between people of the United States and people of other nations.
