Chico State to Open Admissions for Spring 2015
In formulating our enrollment plan for 2014/15, we set our targets with the possibility of enrolling as many as 900 new students in spring. For Chico, our annualized target equates to 14,563 resident full-time equivalent students (FTES) or approximately 16,207 average total headcount.
Beginning August 1, Chico State will accept applications from fully eligible upper-division transfer students. In addition to meeting the general CSU transfer admission requirements, upper-division students from outside of our local admission area may be held to a higher GPA requirement. This GPA will be decided based on the characteristics of the applicant pool.
Applications from the following categories will also be accepted: out-of-state transfer, international, credential, second bachelor degree candidates in nursing and most graduate programs. The following graduate programs will not accept applications for spring 2015: anthropology, communication sciences and disorders, nursing, psychology, and social work. Distance and online education programs will also accept applications and information can be found at http://rce.csuchico.edu/online-learning.
Undergraduate students must apply no later than midnight on August 31, 2014 at www.csumentor.edu. The deadline for domestic and international graduate students to apply is September 15, 2014. International undergraduates must apply by September 30.
