CSU, Chancellor’s Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP) 2013/2014 applications now available: http://www.calstate.edu/hr/cdip/
CDIP provides financial assistance to students pursuing doctoral degrees. CDIP, a recruitment incentive program, is open to all graduate students at accredited institutions who are not probationary or tenured faculty members in the CSU.
Participants receive loans up to $30,000. Participants accepting tenure-track CSU instructional faculty position after earning the doctoral degree will have 20% of the loan forgiven per each year of full-time postdoctoral teaching employment in the CSU. Recipients, however, are not obligated to return to a CSU after completion of their doctoral degree. They can pay off the low-interest loan over a period of 15 years.
Applications are encouraged from new or continuing full-time students in doctoral programs at accredited universities anywhere in the United States during the 2013/2014 academic year. Lecturers intending to pursue or already pursuing a doctoral degree are also eligible.
The CSU- Chico campus deadline is Friday, February 8, 2013 by 4:00 p.m. Submit the application to the Office of Graduate Studies, Student Service Center, room 460 on or before the deadline. Please email Dr. Matthew Thomas with questions: mothomas@csuchico.edu
