Juggling and Tumbling? The National Acrobats of the People's Republic of China present Cirque Peking are coming to CSU, Chico!

Chico Performances welcomes The National Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China, one of the most acclaimed acrobatic troupes in China, on Tuesday, September 16th at 7:30 p.m. in Laxson Auditorium. Their new performance, Cirque Peking, showcases acrobatics, juggling, aerial work, dance, and traditional Chinese music. This is perfect for families.

 

Direct from Beijing, the National Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China was founded in 1951 and is one of the most acclaimed acrobatic troupes in China. In 1972, the company visited the United States and was invited to the White House by President Richard Nixon. Their acrobatic diplomacy has taken the company around the world to over 70 countries.
