ESTATE AND LONG TERM CARE PLANNING – FINAL WORKSHOP

 

PASSAGES is presenting the third workshop of its Estate and Long-Term Care Planning series scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 10 AM to noon at CARD’s Lakeside Pavilion, 2565 California Park Drive, Chico.  It is co-sponsored by the Chico Area Recreation District. Seating is limited and reservations are required by calling 898-5923 by June 7. 

The workshop is entitled Social Security and your retirement planning – Tips on maximizing your Social Security benefits as part of your financial planning”.   This workshop is geared to individuals who are planning retirement and are not yet drawing Social Security benefits.  Speakers include a representative from the Social Security Administration (SSA) and a local independent financial planner.  Audience will see a demonstration of Social Security’s new interactive web page at www.ssa.gov called “My Social Security” which is the government’s official site to review individual’s own SSA benefits.
