Movies that will broaden your vision of the universe - 26 featured films this weekend in Colusa Hall
Movies, Movies and more Movies! Movies that will move you and change the way you feel about humanity. Twenty six movies that explore topics such as poverty, transgender issues, artistic endeavors, black culture, Arabic village life, the Holocaust, deaf culture, Autism, and more.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion has partnered with the FOCUS Film Festival to bring two days of exceptional films that promote diversity, disability, and inclusion to the Chico State campus.
We invite you to see these exceptionally moving and timely movies – this Thursday, Friday & Saturday
The Festival will feature a Kick-Off at Sierra Nevada Big Room on Thursday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. with live jazz followed by RAISING RENEE.
The festival continues on Friday and Saturday October 12 and 13, at Colusa Hall, 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
For as little as $5 per film, or $15 for an entire day of films, you can become part of a broader universe – where differences are celebrated.
The broad spectrum of social issues addressed by this festival serves to educate students and others preparing to enter a diverse global environment, as well an reinforcing acceptance of our diverse student body to the staff and faculty.
