As of its unique type, Great Prophet Mohammed Association organized a third lecture in the campus of California State University, Chico entitled “Prophet Mohammed and Islamic Sharia.” Imam Sayed Mustafa Al Qazwini was chosen to present this lecture based on his Islamic background knowing that he is the religious leader of Islamic Educational Center of Orang County. 

The lecture took a place in the auditorium where more than 200 persons of different ages attended the lecture. A large proportion of the attendees heard about the lecture from the activity that the members of the association performed where they were giving the public a tag with the details about the lecture attached to a rose and in the back of the tag is a quote about Prophet Mohammed talking about peace and love. 

Imam Sayed Mustafa Al Qazwini talked in the lecture about what the Americans think about the Islamic Sharia and clarified some of the misunderstood points. He also confirmed that Prophet Mohammed’s message is based primarily on peace and mercy. He also talked about freedom and human rights in Islam. 

The lecture lasted for an hour and fifteen minutes and the last thirty minutes were assigned to a Q and A session followed by a draw on 18 books written by Sayed Al Qazwini.

The lecture has been arranged by GPM Association. The association is considered as a student orgnaization in California State University, Chico.
