Cultural Celebration: Our Lady of Guadalupe
The students of the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center will be sponsoring a cultural celebration on December 12 in honor of the traditional feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. All are welcome! Father Timothy Nondorf will lead a procession from the Newman Center (at the corner of 3rd St. and Cherry) to Selvester’s Café for a ceremony and blessings.
If you would like to participate, come join the procession which will depart from the Newman Center at 3:30 PM. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM at Selvester’s Café near Big Chico Creek. A blessing of icons associated with Our Lady and a blessing of students for success during finals week will culminate the ceremony.
