Department/Office Halloween Costume Contest
Does your campus department have the BEST group costume idea? Put on your thinking caps and get your creative juices flowing. The Staff Council is sponsoring the Second Annual Halloween Department/Office costume contest for this coming Halloween, Friday, October 31.
- Have your department/office put together a group costume for Halloween
- Between 8:00am-10:am on Halloween (Friday, October 31), take ONE picture of your group in costume
- Send ONE picture to the STAFF COUNCIL OFFICE EMAIL between 8:00am-10:00am on Halloween
(please subject the email like this: “Halloween Picture/Department Name”)
Your department picture will be uploaded by our office to our Staff Council Facebook Page. Only pictures emailed to Staff Council will be posted to Facebook. Pictures posted directly to Facebook will be deleted. Pictures received AFTER 10:00am will not be entered.
At 12:00pm on Halloween, all pictures can be viewed on the Staff Council Facebook Page. Between 12:00pm and 4:00pm, you, your coworkers, friends, and family can “LIKE” your favorites. You and others must click on the posted picture to “LIKE” it. To be able to “LIKE” your favorite photos you must first “LIKE” our Staff Council Facebook page.
The Facebook page will be shut down at 4:00pm to total the “LIKES” of each picture. The department photo with the most “LIKES” will be declared our winner and win a $30.00 Woodstock’s Pizza gift certificate, two-two liters of soda, candy, and the satisfaction of being costume champion of the Chico State campus. Our winner will be announced in Campus Announcements on Monday, November 3.
All pictures submitted to our contest become the property of Staff Council to use for promotional and social media purposes.
