Humanities Center Photo Exhibit, Black and White in Black and White, Presented Through Feb. 24

Historical photos of predominantly African American citizens taken in Lincoln, Nebraska between 1910-25 will be displayed through February 24 at the Humanities Center Gallery at Chico State.

These large-scale works, part of the 280-plus Douglas Keister Collection of Glass Negatives, were taken by African American photographer John Johnson (with possible help from a African American photo assistant named Earl McWilliams).
