Northstate Public Radio In Urgent Need of Volunteers!
Our Fall Membership Drive begins on Friday, October 12th. The network is striving to raise $175,000 in just nine days to meet our annual operating goals. For our Fall Drive, we’re partnering with Butte County and Shasta County libraries in a celebration of literacy. The theme of the drive is “Listening & Learning,” reminding us of the wealth of information that comes our way every day on Northstate Public Radio.
In effort to reduce the amount we need to raise on air, our Silent Drive is underway now, and allows listeners to enter the drawing for an Apple Ipad. All pledges received before Oct. 12 will be entered in the drawing.
The station is in dire need of volunteers to help answer phones during the drive. Three-hour shifts are available on Saturday 10/13 and Sunday 10/14 from 6am to 9pm.
