Mentoring Opportunity

This is to inform you of an exciting opportunity to serve as classroom mentors working with first-year students in the context of entry-level courses.  The First-Year Experience program will be offering a Mentor Training Course, UNIV 202, each semester beginning this spring.  Students who successfully complete the course are eligible to apply for paid employment in the following programs:

1.      the University's U-Course program;

2.      the First-Year Experience program;

3.      direct mentoring in two UNIV courses; and/or

4.      the Civic Engagement Office.

Eligible students should have a 3.0 GPA or a strong letter of recommendation from a faculty member. UNIV 202 will be scheduled based on prospective students' schedules.
