Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course for students, staff, faculty

The Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Canter is excited to offer the class series Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) again this semester open to students, staff and faculty.  The MBSR program, backed by three decades of research, will help you reduce stress and enhance resilience, even in the face of serious life difficulties.  Common reasons people take this course include: Daily Life Stress, Anxiety/Depression, Sleep Problems, Chronic Pain, Fatigue, Headaches,  Job, School or Family Pressure, Personal Growth/Development, substance abuse, ADD/ADHD, and Serious Illness. 

 

Introductory Course:  Thursday, October 2 from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

 

Class Continues:  Thursdays from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM for (8) weeks (No class on Thanksgiving)

There will be a Day-long Retreat on Saturday, November 15 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 

Location: Student Services Center 150

 

Course Fee:  $30 per student – Due Upon Registration – Current Chico State Student ID # Required;   $250 for Faculty/Staff of Chico State – Limited Faculty/Staff spaces – Due Upon Registration
