Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Class for Students

The Campus Alcohol and Drug Education Canter and UMatter are excited to offer the series Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) again this semester open to all students.  The MBSR program, backed by three decades of research, will help you reduce stress and enhance resilience, even in the face of serious life difficulties.  Common reasons people take this course include: Daily Life Stress, Anxiety/Depression, Sleep Problems, Chronic Pain, Fatigue, Headaches,  Job, School or Family Pressure, Personal Growth/Development, substance abuse, ADD/ADHD, and Serious Illness. 

FREE Introductory Course: Tuesday, October 1:  7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Class Continues: Tuesdays 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM for seven (7) weeks (October 8 – November 19)

There will be a Day-long Retreat on Saturday, November 9

Course Fee: $30 per student – Due Upon Registration at the Conclusion of the FREE Introductory Class on October 1

FEES Cover Course Materials including Book, CD and other materials which students will keep
