NEH 2013 $6,000 Summer Stipends Concept Paper Deadline-9 A.M. Friday, August 24

CSU, Chico may nominate two faculty members for the 2012 NEH competition.  To be considered for nomination, please prepare a concept paper that does not exceed three single-spaced pages (1,785 words) and submit four copies to Research and Sponsored Programs (RESP) at 25 Main Street no later than 9 a.m. on August 24, 2012.  Proposal guidelines are available on NEH’s Web Site.

Concept papers will be reviewed and ranked by the Proposal Review Committee of the University’s Faculty Recognition and Support Committee (FRAS). FRAS will recommend two CSU, Chico finalists.  Finalists will be notified on or around August 31. Proposals to NEH are due September 27, 2012.

NIH requires applicants to submit their own proposals. However, it is RESP’s responsibility to route the proposals for campus approvals before submission. If FRAS selects your concept paper, please provide RESP with your final narrative, a bibliography, a resume, and an appendix (if required) at least one week before the deadline.  RESP will route the proposal for approvals and assist with submission if requested to do so.
