Model United Nations Team Snags Top Honors at National Conference

A team of 23 students from California State University, Chico took home the top award from the National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference in New York City April 11-18, beating out nearly 200 colleges and universities from around the world. 

Competing against more than 2,500 students, the CSU, Chico team earned the Outstanding Delegation award, given to the top 10 percent of schools participating. Additionally, seven individual Outstanding Position Paper awards were given to CSU, Chico student partnerships. The combined distinctions place them in the top 5 percent nationally.
