City of Chico Tree Trimming/Removal (2nd and Chestnut)
The City of Chico will be removing two trees along 2nd and Chestnut adjacent to the BMU. Their tree trimming contractor, George Salinas Tree Preservation, will remove the trees tomorrow, Tuesday July 29th, starting at 7:00 am. The job should be completed the same day.
The City has also scheduled tree trimming (for safety pruning, dead branch removal, and limb weight reduction) in the same vicinity for Wednesday, July 30th, starting at 7:00 am. This work should be completed by mid-day on Thursday, July 31st.
Please be advised to avoid this work zone while the tree work is being performed and plan your alternate routes safely.
