Request a CAVE Talk in your Student Organization

Community Action Volunteers in Education (CAVE) offers 16 different volunteer community service programs designed to provide experiential, "hands-on” learning and skill development while at the same time providing valuable community service.

We would appreciate your support in allowing us to enter your student organization to enthusiastically present your member with information about CAVE and how/where/when to get involved.  These presentations are very brief (3 minutes) and the main component of our recruitment process.

Please check your organizations meeting times and then request a CAVE talk (please note: not all requests are satisfied). Call the CAVE Office, 898-5817, or email,, to request a CAVE talk.  If you choose to email, please provide the following information in your email message: 1) your student organization & contact name 2) day & date of meeting 4) meeting time 5) location 6) phone number 7) email address. Our CAVE talks run the first 3 weeks of the semester, during our recruitment period. Application are due by September 9, therefore, the sooner we may visit your student organization the better.  All of our CAVE programs are approved for university credit.  These programs are not limited to underclassmen - juniors, seniors, and graduate students will also find our programs a very valuable educational experience.

For more information about our programs, please visit our website, or come visit in-person to BMU 309. Also, find us on Facebook!
